The Ministry of Education has launched the National Schools Awards (GALOP Edition), an initiative aimed at recognising public schools in underserved communities that have demonstrated significant improvement under the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP).
Speaking at the launch in Accra on Wednesday, Deputy Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, welcomed the introduction of the awards, describing it as an important step towards promoting excellence and improving learning outcomes in Ghana’s education sector.
