Our Profile

The National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) formerly the National Inspectorate Board (NIB) is an autonomous agency under the Ministry of Education (MoE) established by the Education Act, (2008) Act 778 as amended by the Education Regulatory Bodies Act 2020, (Act 1023). The Act 1023 mandates the Authority to “develop, publish, promote, and enforce highest quality standards and guidelines for quality education in public and private pre-tertiary education institutions” in Ghana. The Authority is also responsible for regulating all of Ghana’s public and private pre-tertiary schools.
