As part of its stakeholder engagement tour, the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) delegation, led by the Inspector-General of Schools, Prof. Azeko, visited the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa Esq , on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in Sunyani.
The delegation included the Deputy Inspector-General of Schools for General Services, Ms. Ayisha Gomda, Bono Regional Director of NaSIA, Mrs. Evelyn Akorfa Yentumi, Deputy Director of Standards and Licensing Division, Mr. Gideon Adjapong; and other officials from NaSIA.
During the meeting, discussions centered on NaSIA’s office space challenges and its role in enhancing education in the region. Prof. Azeko congratulated Hon. Akwaboa on his appointment and requested his support in securing a permanent office space for NaSIA.
Hon. Akwaboa reaffirmed his commitment to supporting NaSIA, emphasizing the importance of strengthening education in the Bono region. He assured the delegation that efforts would be made to provide the necessary resources for NaSIA to function effectively.
