On Wednesday, August 3, 2023, the Inspector-General of Schools, Dr. Haggar Hilda Ampadu, was invited by the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) to participate as a Guest Speaker at the commencement of their five-day Educational Leadership Summit in Bunso.
The summit focused on the theme, “Building Innovative and Resilient School Leaders for Sustainable Development.”

In attendance were Mr. Obenfo Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah, The National Executive Director for GNACOPS, Dr. Jectey- Nyarko Mantey, Quality Assurance-Research & Training Director for GNACOPS, Education Regulatory Bodies, Education Agencies, Partners /Sister Associations and Sponsors of the Summit.
Mr. Obenfo Nana Gyetuah Enoch revealed that the purpose of the summit was to foster collaboration, exchange best practices, and provide educational leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to promote sustainable growth in the private education sector.

In her speech, the IGS outlined the National Schools Inspectorate Authority’s (NaSIA) function as an Authority tasked with ensuring quality and enforcing standards in all Pre-tertiary schools in Ghana. She applauded GNACOPS and its leadership for planning and pioneering this educational summit. For this reason, said Dr. Haggar Hilda Ampadu, “I consider myself fortunate to have attended this summit and I am sincerely convinced that by working together, we can mold the future leaders and create a society where education will flourish for many years to come”
