
The Inspector General of Schools for NaSIA, Prof. Tahiru Salifu Azeko joined the Hon. Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu,the Bono East Regional Minister Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi, the GES Director-General Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, the Ministry of Education’s Chief Director, Mrs. Mamle Andrews, NaSIA Bono East Regional Director, Mr. Augustine Aboagye and other key education leaders to monitor the commencement of the 2025 BECE in Techiman. Examination centers visited included Techiman SHS, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Girls’ SHS, and Kwarteng Ankomah SHS.
The Hon. Minister encouraged candidates to approach the exams with confidence while emphasizing zero tolerance for malpractice. Some critical observations were made regarding infrastructure, including inadequate lighting and furniture in the examination centers, with assurances for prompt resolution.
Subsequently, the IGS, alongside the GES Director-General and MoE Chief Director, extended the examination monitoring to Krobo Community SHS in Techiman North, ensuring adherence to examination standards.
