IGS as Special Guest at TRRS Speech Day

The Inspector General of Schools of the National Schools Inspectorate Authority, Dr. Haggar Hilda Ampadu, was on Thursday the 29th of June, 2023, invited as a Special Guest to the Roman Ridge School (TRRS) Senior School Speech and Prize Giving Day.

The celebration which was guided by the theme, “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” ~ Albert Einstein, was graced by other notable attendees including Nana Osim Kwatia ii, Dr. Frank Adu Jnr., Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee, Mr. Keli Gadzekpo, and Mr. Sintim – Aboagye.

Delivering her speech, Dr. Ampadu acknowledged TRRS for always opening their doors to the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) and championing the importance of regulation in the education space to ensure standards are met for the ultimate benefit of our nation’s children.

She also commended the school for its commitment to excellence. “The achievements of the learners in TRRS are extremely impressive and I must admit that it is the first school I have seen where every learner received an award” she noted.

The IGS also reiterated NaSIA’s commitment to ensuring quality and standards in pre-tertiary institutions in Ghana.
